Climate & Terroir
The terroir is defined by its high elevation, with vineyards situated between 400 and 900 meters above sea level. This altitude creates a unique microclimate characterized by significant diurnal temperature variations, preserving acidity and aromatic complexity. The soils are predominantly composed of clay, limestone, and sandstone, providing excellent drainage and mineral depth. This combination of mountainous terrain and varied soil types allows for the successful cultivation of both indigenous and international varieties.
